Hi, I'm James.
Entrepreneur and eCommerce operator. I use AI and AWS to automate the daily work of running a business. I've worked remotely for over 12 years. Through my wife's family, I have ties to 3D printing and sourcing in China. I'm also actively improving my Mandarin.
The short version
I started an eCommerce company in 2014. It grew fast, so I built software to run it: orders, inventory, suppliers, shipments, PPC ads, four marketplaces.
At its peak we shipped over 40,000 orders a year. I lived overseas for five years while it ran, and it still runs today off the systems I put in years ago.
I've been building that way ever since. If I have to do something twice, I'd rather build a system that does it for me.
What I'm into
Flipping things online since 2002. Started my company in 2014, and began sourcing my own products in 2015.
I automate the boring parts of a business so they run without me.
Through my wife's family, I have direct ties to 3D printing and sourcing in China.
I've worked from wherever I want for over 12 years. Based in Texas for now.
Actively improving my Mandarin.
